The suicide girl is living rough after she ran away from her home in the previous chapter, she is awoken on a park bench by a homeless man as she sleeps and is frightened away by him acting creepy. Kurono watches a TV news report about his own disappearance and wonders what is going on, but when he goes to school he accidently gets himself involved in a fight with a gang of youths after school. Worried about what will happen, he puts on the suit Gantz gave him under his school uniform and goes to face the group.
As Kurono approaches the gang of people waiting to beat him up, he sees another teenager (a lot stronger than him) having his teeth forcibly removed thanks to the leader of the group who claims to be a Yakuza member. They begin threatening him when he tells them that he will not pay the money back, hoping that the suit he has on will save him, on hearing this the leader grabs him and is about to crush him when Kurono's suit kicks in and begins to crush his hands. The leader begs Kurono to let go of his hands while the rest of the group wonder what happened, Kurono begins to walk away.
The group shout threats to Kurono as he leaves, but he ignores them and walks through the school as he realises that he is the most powerful one there at that moment. As he gets to the train station his friend is looking at a magazine featuring an idol and comments on how great it would be to have a girlfriend like that, Kurono agrees and continues on his journey home. As he walks to his door he sees the suicide girl sleeping at it, she wakes up startled and hands him his student notebook before leaving, she then turns round and asks for some water. As she leaves the second time she asks Kurono if he is allowed to keep pets, to which he replies yes, she then asks if he will keep her. Kurono doesn't know what to say, but lets her in.
The suicide girl takes a shower as Kurono runs to the shop to get some goods for them both to survive on, as he returns she asks him if it is ok to sleep in his bed with him, to which he replies that it is fine. When they get in there he asks if it's ok to have sex, to which she replies that you do not have sex with your pets. Kurono is frustrated that he isn't able to get intimate with the attractive suicide girl as she falls asleep, and sits up examining the place where his burn wounds should be.
Kato saves a young child from being mugged by a bunch of thugs on his way to school who take offence and tell their leader (who is also a homosexual and wants to rape Kato once he is done beating him) to take him out for them. The group inform Kato that he is going to be beaten after school and he returns to class thinking about what is going to happen, he then makes the decision to take on the leader there and then and heads for the toilets where he promptly decimates the huge leader of the gang. The rest of the group offer him the position of leader, but he just ignores them and walks away.
The suicide girl returns home to where she and Kurono live after them both going to see her clone which she seems to have replicated, they can't work out what is going on, so they are both just relievefed that she isn't dead in real life. Kurono has dinner with her and as they are getting ready to go to bed him begins to fondle her large breasts, she tells him to stop just as both of them are frozen and returned to the room which they associate with Gantz.
The story switches to a Yakuza member who is sitting in his apartment with his girlfriend and his child when his phone rings with his favourite Ami Suzuki ringtone, his friends have called him out to a car parking lot because they heard a girl who looks like her would be waiting for them there, unluckily for them it was a trap and they are surrounded by rival gang members who stab the leader and beat the rest of them to death. As they wake up they find themselves in the Gantz room, surrounded by the mysterious guy (Nishi), Kurono, Kato and the suicide girl.
The story once again changes to focus on an extremely handsome young man who is out shopping and attracting the attentions of lots of the girls around him, as he leaves the store one of the girls following him asks if she can ride along with him to which he replies yes. What he doesn't notice is that the girl doesn't get on, but a mysterious woman does. As they approach a junction where a guy has fallen asleep at the wheel of his car the teenager is trying to shake the woman off the back of his bike, the next thing they both know they are in the room with the others and the Gantz ball.
As the group assemble in the room, the new members begin to wonder what has happened and they close in on the suicide girl straight away as they lech over her. Kato informs them all of what happens but no one seems to believe him until the black ball starts ordering instructions. Everyone picks their weapons and their suitcases and begins to arm themselves, Kurono then realises that because he took his suit away there isn't one for him this time...
Kurono realises that he needs to get a suit from somewhere or he is going to die and he tells Kato this whilst in tears at the prospect, he tries to steal one of the Yakuza member's suits until then realise, he is about to get beaten for trying it on when one of the other Yakuza members shoots the mysterious teen (Nishi) with his gun, at which point the whole room falls silent.
